1

It stands to reason
Through centuries and seasons
We keep squandering the pristine, clean dreams
Sewing up our sore seams
And festering in moonbeams
Bartering with flawed beans
And to this day
I Can't stand to see you
Crying in your free beer
It's hotter every year
And full of toxins here
So everything flows faster, harder
But a single tear
We meet so much resistance
And have faith in our existence
But you've fallen for too many more
And before I know,
I've fallen, too
In a pile, on the floor
